I mounted a DSLR-like camera to a front fender on a drift car (with a safety cable) and this thing worked great! Stayed on for hours, even with the abuse we put it through! Here's the video: [@] For the price you can't beat this quality product.

A really great mount overall. After 3 years of use nearly every weekend, the grey lever wore out and it wouldn't stick as well as when it was new. I did buy another though to replace it and still think it's a great mount compared to the market. Considering another one as well.

The Cullmann Suction Mount was a last-minute emergency purchase for me, but it turns out to be one of the best camera gear investments I've made. Perfect for my Sony FX1 (loaded with a large battery and XLR adapter), the mount held fast to the side of a car for an hour of shooting (in roughly half-hour blocks). For added security, I tied down the camera with a bungee cord, but the mount itself seemed very secure.
I've had to shoot scenes in cars many times over the years, and have rarely been able to afford even a rental of one of those 'hostess tray' mounts. This ingenious tool does more (it can be a hood mount, a door mount, etc. You can use it for shots just about anywhere the car offers a smooth surface).
If you're really picky about the steadiness of these shots, you may need to add an additional support to the camera, as it will wiggle just a little, but for the price you're paying, this suction cup mount delivers absolutely outstanding production value. I'm looking forward to making use of it a lot on upcoming productions.

Very affordable. Suction mount that secures cameras to glass or car panels and speed tested externally on vehicles above 180+ km/h (110+ mph). Nice alloy ball head thats quick to adjust.
Simple to attach - push against smooth clean surface and fold down handle - no need for vacuum pumps. When it's on it stays on.
Only fault is the plastic overcentre cam (grey handle) that can wear down and fracture slightly on the tip (provides positive force against cup).
