About the Author: Jerry Davidson comes from a family of artists and has worked as both an artist and a photographer for the past 18 years. His paintings, drawings and photographs have been widely exhibited in public and private galleries. Numerous magazines have featured his articles and photographs on photographic technique, travel and aviation.

A former military and commercial airline pilot, Jerry retains an association with aviation as an official photographer for the reknowned Canadian Air Forces "Snowbirds" Air Demonstration Team. He and his wife live on Saltspring Island near Victoria, B.C., where he works out of his home studio and teaches art.
