This is the 15" Arm for the Flare Buster system. To be used in combination with the other components.
The FlareBuster system is a handy accessory that shields your lens from image-degrading stray light without the need for large lens hoods or for shielding the lens with a hat or your hand. It stores in a very compact fashion and can universally shade all but the biggest of telephoto lenses quite effectively.

Comments about 15" Flare Buster Arm:
Useful with a technical camera to reduce/eliminate lens flare. Just use a gray card or piece of foam core as the flat surface in the clamp. Works as advertised.

Comments about 15" Flare Buster Arm:
This product is a great help in controlling flare with a tech (or other) camera. I use it with a 3 x 5 in. piece of black foam core, other things will work.
Seems sturdy enough, although I'm a bit suspect that the base, where it attaches to the camera's hot shoe, may eventually break.

Comments about 15" Flare Buster Arm:
This gadget is incredibly useful, especially if you often shoot from a tripod. It is also very portable, and can substitutte for an assortment of lens shades if you are trying to keep you pack small. The one problem is the arm tends to break off where the clip is -- I have gone through 4 of them in 2-3 years.

I'm using this for my large format cameras to clip on to the darkcloth to make it into a lens shade and hold in place. Compact, lightweight and sturdy enough.
