Bottom line: A versatile and reliable kit to use as an addition to or starter for your C-Stand. Highly recommended.
Avenger D520B (40" Extension Arm)—performs just as it should to hold lights up to 8lbs., flags, reflectors, and gobos. The black finish will wear the more it's used, but it's a solid piece.
Avenger/Manfrotto C1575B (Super Clamp)—Super strong! The jaws open up wide to 2.5" and then lock like a bulldog's jaw using the twist handle. It includes a wedge to clamp onto flat surfaces (clips onto the tightening knob for the stud receptor when not in use—very handy). The 1/4-20" female threads in it's base are useful for screwing a stud in there for small lights and extension arms while the 5/8" hexagonal female receiver locks studs and arms in place using a tightening bolt and spring-loaded push pin.
Avenger D200B (2.5" Grip Head)—Does its job like a champ to hold just about anything that will fit its jaws and female stud receptor. Put this kid onto the top of a C-Stand and tighten it up using the very comfortable rubber grip pads (not shown in pictures). Fits 5/8" studs and stand top as described.
Avenger/Manfrotto E600 (Aluminum Snap-In Pin)—Does its job as expected, though this guy is a little on the light side and will get banged up easier than the steel versions. The hex end pops into a Super Clamp to stop it from twisting while the opposite end accepts light fixtures with a 5/8" female receptor.

Comments about Avenger Grip Kit and Bag:
After I began using this item as part of my on-location lighting kit for portraits, I immediately ordered a second one. I do not always have the benefit of an assistant. So I use them with stands to holding both lighting modifiers and flash units. The parts are SOLID and a great value. Now that I own two, I would not be without them. Not readily apparent in the photo is that the grip head screw can be positioned for either long or short studs--makes it more versatile that way.

This is a very versatile combo. I use it for mounting speedlights and tri-grips in different combination. Very sturdy when mounted on a c-stand.

Comments about Avenger Grip Kit and Bag:
Grip heads are heavy duty. Works just like your basic grip head/arm set on a c-stand. was expecting all the pieces to fit easily into the included bag, but thats not the case..you really have to stretch it out to get it to close. annoying but only when you need to be mobile.
