Pros:
We needed a simple yet very clean way to display some old 1960's & 1970's Creepy, Weird, and Eerie Horror Art Magazines and didn't want to spend lots of money on framing. These frames worked wonderfully! A simple BLACK matte behind the Magazines made them look like they were literally pieces of art and not magazines. The clean thin frame doesn't detract from the magazine art and keeps you focused on the artwork.
These are simple to use frames, virtually snap and load, in and out in about 10 seconds per print.
I actually like the predetermined mounting holes on the back of the frame, makes having a centered hook brainless as well.
Over all I think these frames are awesome for displaying artwork, autographs, and in this case Comic Books / Magazines.
Cons:
Just need to be careful with the glass. I did cut myself once on the glass, and you have to watch for fingerprints since you MUST handle the glass.
If you plan on framing anything larger than a comic book it isn't the best idea, the way the glass clips into the frame can be undone easily IF the item to be framed is larger then 1/4 inch thick, so matting is gonna be tricky for you.
OVERALL:
This is an AWESOME frame for beginners OR for people who want a super simplistic frame design that does not detract from the item being displayed.

My grandson was asked to exhibit his photos at a local Y and needed a lot of frames for the project, without breaking the bank. I found these frames and was pleasantly surprised at how nice they looked and how well they worked.
They are not rugged, but sturdier than I would have expected for the price.

These are some of the most useful and inexpensive frames out there. I first used them for our children's school pictures and now purchase the larger ones to display some of my photos.

Comments about MCS Format Frame (11 x 14", Black):
I am hanging my first solo show in a small local venue and wanted consistency and a frame that wouldn't overwhelm the photographs. What you need to know when buying these is that they require careful handling to avoid snapping the frame or breaking glass. The glass seems to be thinner than standard, and is beveled to make the front-loading design work more easily, but using replacement glass feels a little dicey. Can only be hung from set tabs molded in the plastic on the back side of the frame. Mats have to be single ply to fit. But for someone starting out, it was an affordable way to put a dozen photographs in nice looking frames.

Great for prints that use all space, no overlapping frame so you see all the work on the print.

These frames are a great value, have a great selection of sizes, have bought the 8x12 and now the 11x14 to frame some pictures and some small posters. I look around for other frames but have come back to these.

A frame for this price with a glass front is rare. The front loading style is great for changing pictures out easily. I used this for certificates at work and it was so quick and easy to insert the certificates and hang them on the wall.

Great frames, very easy to use. Push the glass out the front, pop in a photo and replace the glass. Has a low profile that puts a thin border around your print. And at that price you cant go wrong. Frames ship 6 to a box. Any additional are packed loose and the glass could possibly break.

I purchased 10 frames and mounted them in a hallway in my office to display some of our portfolio. The frames are very high quality, and professional looking.
I just ordered a few more for my son's bedroom for some 11x14 posters that he wanted up on his wall.

Our company needed 16 of these frames for evacuation routes throughout our facility. These frames look great, were easy to load and give our facility a uniform look at a great price.
