Comments about Speedotron Force 10 Monolight with 11" Reflector (120VAC):
This flash is just bomb proof and its output is the the same as dynalite 2000 ws pack set to 1500 ws.
The slave is amazing and always works, Extremely consistent and great to work with.
But it is not 8 pounds on the stand it is 10 pounds on the stand with a cord and reflector and stand attachment

Comments about Speedotron Force 10 Monolight with 11" Reflector (120VAC):
I was very impressed with the power of these lights, I was shooting food at the lowest power and was at 16 WOW..., the problem I had was the slave is unbelievability poor I had the lights no more than 6ft apart and the slave did not work...I mean did not work! this is not what we need. I had a old slave from 100 years ago, I had to use to fix this in the middle of a shoot. So now I need to get a second receiver (pocketwizard) don't get me wrong the light and ease of use are GREAT but the slave is USELESS so when you need more than one get another receiver

Comments about Speedotron Force 10 Monolight with 11" Reflector (120VAC):
I use the light every day. It has lots of power and consistant output. It is heavier than othe brands I and I do wish it was lighter. Already have everything speedo changing all to another brand would cost thousands. Other thoughts are the power output dial is great, but the other controls could be re-thought. And I'd like to be able to turn off the audible ready. May seem like more neg than positive but I'm offering some critique that others might find usefull and hopefully some re-desighn might occur.
Over all very happy with the monolight. Just bought 2 more.
