Comments about QuikLok QL-400 Adjustable, Roll-Around Mixer/Remote Stand with Casters (14.5 - 21" Width Adjustment):
I purchased these stands to hold an OhmRGB Midi controller & a Macbook Pro for live visual performances on stage. After using these stands about 4-5 times they started to fall apart. The actual stand is secured to the rolling base with a bolt that has a plastic screw handle. In order to keep the stand from rocking around in the rolling base I had to constantly tighten the plastic bolt holder. After doing this so many times the plastic that holds the bolt broke and the stand was unusable.
I upgraded to the next model up which is the Mixer Stand MIX-400 and it is a much more suitable application. The fittings have no plastic and they are much more sturdy.
I would no recommend this stand for anyone who plans on playing on them. If you plan on using it to simply set something on it it and not touch it then it would be OK.
Also a note to Apple users: Since your ports are on the left side of the macbook these stands can not close all the way when you have things plugged into your laptop. See photos below.

I use this product to "stand" an A&H mixer and it works perfectly in that regard.
It is relatively inexpensive and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I wish it would collapse a bit smaller, just to make load in a bit easier (as I'm a gigging musician), but other than that it is a pretty good stand. (for the money)
