Comments about Avenger D650 Junior Boom Arm with Counterweight:
I'm the second reviewer here to mention this but it's ridiculous that I had to contact Manfrotto(who manufactures avenger products) to get the handle for the counter weight. Do you expect me to loosen and tighten the screw with a wrench each and every time I adjust the counterweight position? The boom is very strong and sturdy, but you definitely need the counter weight to not have it sink. Also, please note that this boom will not fit onto a standard light stand. At minimum, you'll need a Avenger "Junior" light stand.

Comments about Avenger D650 Junior Boom Arm with Counterweight:
These booms are used to hoist 43inch Mola dishes over models at almost full extension. Works great! It is heavy and needs a jr stand . Also get a studio pin as the pop up pin is weak and offset. If you don't have a stand with a crank make sure and have a set of extra hands to set this up correctly. Also get safety cables for your lights when attaching them to the boom.

Solid build. Weighs a ton. No danger of this thing breaking! However the handle for the counterweight was NOT included with the shipment. Instead a bolt was provided. Had to call the mfg to get thme to send me the handle.
