I use this Fuji DVC-60 mini DV tape in my Sony HDR FX-7. I have used Fuji tape both professionally and for personal use for years and have never had a problem with it no matter what the format. I get no dropouts, great sound and color. I figure, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. It is just a great product, period. I get beautiful 1080 recordings with it. Stands up well in editing.

These tapes are the best for the price. Used Sony before, however encountered dropped pixels and artifacts. Have never had a problem with the Fuji's. Good tape!.

..but I should have. I liked the quality from the tapes and the affordability. I had no problems and I shot with all four of them this past Saturday. I used them in a Panasonic DVX100B and a Canon GL-1.

I use these Mini DV for all my outdoor and indoor shooting. Easy to use lables allow you to keep track of what is on each tape. Packs easly for travel. I always keep a few Cassettes in my Video equipment bag for those unexpected video moments.
I've also noticed that the tape does not strach like some similar tapes. This ensures your masters will maintain their footage as taken.

This is definitely one of the best choices for Mini DV cassettes at a price that's cheaper than most others for a lower quality product.

Comments about Fujifilm DVC-60 Mini DV Cassette (60 Minutes):
We've never been disappointed with these tapes. Used them for years. Even sent one through the washer once and it played perfectly afterwards. I wouldn't recommend doing that, but they are obviously quite durable!

I have been using this tape stock for the past 3 years. I am a professinal videographer and these tapes are the only ones that have never let me down. I have tried others but have had issues. If you want to make sure you get that once in a lifetime shot use these.

Comments about Fujifilm DVC-60 Mini DV Cassette (60 Minutes):
Although they don't say it on the label, these tapes work with HDV (all DV tapes do, actually). I use them exclusively for DV and HDV work.
I did a lot of research on DV tapes and decided on fuji dv. I have used these tapes in numerous shoots with a Canon GL2 and never had a problem except for a single 10-frame glitch while running up a hill (so the bumping probably caused that).
These tapes are cheap in price, but they seem to be just as rugged as anything my associates and friends have ever used. I've never seen the point in going with 'pro' tapes since these have worked so well.
I have also used 40 of these tapes on a Canon XH-A1 (for HDV). They again work perfectly - never had a dropout or any problem.
They're digital, so 'image quality' is irrelevant - all DV tapes are the same in that way. But these tapes are physically reliable and well made.
As with any DV tape, make sure you record junk or color bars on the first minute or so - that first 10 seconds is definitely unusable when capturing from FCP, and I just like to be safe and consistent about it. Same thing seems to be true at the end of the tape - the last 10 seconds or so of the tape really can't be captured for some reason.

Comments about Fujifilm DVC-60 Mini DV Cassette (60 Minutes):
These Fuji tapes are quality tapes i only use these in my Panasonic GS80. The Tapes are better than the Camcorder im using. The GS80 is not that great it is not good at night or in dark rooms & the audio is not that great as well. It's ok for daytime use though & anything where decent audio is needed but not as good as i need it to be. Go with the Fuji tapes you will be glad you did.
