The Domke Photogs Convertible Jacket/Vest, Small (Khaki with Olive Gray Tint) is made from 100% machine washable cotton; pigment dyed and pre-washed for a soft, weathered look and feel. The jacket converts to vest by zipping off the sleeves. There is a stowaway, water-resistant nylon hood inside the zippered collar. It has 16 pockets for accessories. Each pocket has a zipper, touch fastener or weather flap closure.
The jacket/vest has a removable, see-through press pass holder and double touch fastener flap closures. It is parka length, for comfort and practicality with a hidden drawstring that adjusts for a comfortable fit. There are adjustable touch fastener cuffs on the sleeves and a heavy-duty, double-pull zipper and snaps that keep out the cold.

I am about 5'7", chest 39-40 and I almost always fit a med coat perfectly. Domke size small fits up to 38 (loosely) and Med is 40-44 If you are a 39 or 40 them the med is too big and the the small will fit but the arms are too short. If you can, try it on first!

I currently own the Domke Photog Vest and always wanted something for cooler weather. I finally got the Jacket and am very pleased with it. It is very comfortable and has variety of pockets to choose from. Though I intended this for photography use, I found that it is so comfortable that I am wearing it all the time.
The jackets do run larger than standard size. I normally wear a medium and medium usually runs 38-40. I am on the 38 end of the medium. I ordered the small because the medium is 40-44. The small fits perfect, although the sleeves are a little shorter than I am use to in a medium. Still the sleeves cover my wrists.
I recommend this jacket to anyone who needs a comfortable, warm jacket with a variety of pocket options.
