Hoya 58mm Half Neutral Density (ND) x 4 Glass Filter
One half of the Hoya Half NDx4 filter is clear while the other is a 4x Neutral Density (2 stops) with a soft boundary between the two. It is particularly useful in landscape photography. When the ND half of the filter is placed on top, the sky will be darker.

I used this for an out door sit down interview. It helped keep the subjects face bright and visible while also getting a great shot of the sunset in the background. The only con is that the transition between dark and clear is kinda sharp so i can't always get the shot i want.
