This thing broke within 30 seconds of taking out of the box.I didn't bother to return it though, since I quickly figuredout how to improve the design. A $2 clamp from the hardwarestore, a little loctite, and I had a MUCH stronger design.The rod itself is quite sturdy, and I actually think itcould support over four pounds if necessary. The weak pointis the clamp, which is plastic, and attached to the rod at aweak spot. There's no way the clamp could hold two pounds,let alone four.The flexrod itself is also very stiff and awkward to adjust.If you grab on to the clamp when you're adjusting it, itwill break off.Buy it without the clamp and fabricate your own.
