Comments about Nikon 58mm Snap-On Lens Cap:
Bought 2 Nikon caps to replace my 77mm Canon lens cap and 58mm Zeiss cap so that I could remove and replace the cap without having to remove the lens hood. This cap can be gripped near the inside of the cap as well as on the edges. Zeiss lens caps are designed like that too, but I can get a much better grip on the Nikon cap than the Zeiss cap. On a trip from San Jose, CA to Las Vegas, NV via plane, taxi and foot, neither of these caps ever came off unless I removed it. I love shooting with a Canon DSLR, a Zeiss lens and a Nikon lens cap...the best of everything!

Comments about Nikon 58mm Snap-On Lens Cap:
It fit perfect and the price bet all the rest that I found. Would buy a second one if needed from here again.

Comments about Nikon 58mm Snap-On Lens Cap:
Lost the lens cap on my new camera & locally sold generic replacement is no match for the genuine Nikon cap, which has the center-squeeze design. Incredible price at BH, quickly shipped, I was very satisfied with this order and will be back!

Comments about Nikon 58mm Snap-On Lens Cap:
First, a lens cap is a lens cap, for the most part. This does everything that a good lens cap should do. It stays but, keeps the dust and debris out, and guards against errant fingers and the like. However, I'm not fond of the center-of-the-cap release mechanism. I like the older style Nikon caps better. That is really just a personal preference, though.

I loose these constantly, despite all efforts so I just buy two-three at a time. They work well.

Comments about Nikon 58mm Snap-On Lens Cap:
I use Nikon caps on all my Canon lens. The Nikon caps are a lot easier to use than the Canon caps, especially with a hood attached. Highly recommended for all lenses!

Comments about Nikon 58mm Snap-On Lens Cap:
I use these lens caps on my Canon lenses because I greatly prefer the center pinch Nikon design to the edge pinch design of the standard Canon lens caps. These are just so much easier to use when you have a lens hood mounted. A little expensive for a piece of plastic, perhaps, but I think the convenience is worth a little extra cost in the long run.
Comments about Nikon 58mm Snap-On Lens Cap:
Excellent center-grip design makes this cap a cinch to put on and remove, even with a lens hood in place. I replaced all of the Canon lens caps on my Canon lenses with this Nikon version!
