Ikelite Silicone Lubricant (4) 1cc Tubes
This Ikelite silicone grease is used to lubricate Ikelite o-rings in Ikelite underwater cameras, housings and strobes.
Note: Ikelite does not recomend any other silicone grease for their o-rings.

Great performance but very unpractical package.You dont need all the content inside the tube so if it remains opened it can be easilly wasted. I suggest a stronger package with a cap.

This item was recommended by the manufacture for use on the camera housing o-ring. The product itself works fine. The only problem is the packaging of the lubricant. It is contained in a small tube, that once it is opened, there is no way to reseal it, making it a problem to keep it clean and uncontaminated. The o-ring requires very little product and therefore you only require a small usage. Other companies package the item in a re sealable container, which is ideal.

"For want of a nail the kingdom was lost". There's no reason to have a dive trip ruined because you managed to dry out an o-ring and get a leak. Get some, tuck it away, and have it when you need it.

I was disappointed that the silicone lubricant doesn't have a screw cap on them, or some type of cap. The tube is too big to use all at once, and will be awkward to try to reseal in something to save it for the next time I use it.
