I use this product to connect my midi devices(Alesis DM5 Drums and Keyboard) to my Laptop.
It works perfectly with minimal lag.
I wish the cable was longer.

My MIDI cables were too short to reach comfortably so I got this for my Yamaha DX100. I've also used it with an FCB1010 pedal board for live performances and it hasn't failed me. I don't think there is anything I can say about this that I don't like. The cable is sufficiently shielded and isn't stiff like some cables I've used. Feels great and durable as long as you don't use it as a jump rope or leash to walk your dog it should last you a LONG time.

The cable is good for a stationary setup in a studio that isn't going to get much wear. If I were going to be moving it around a lot, or taking it out I would consider a higher end cable, but for staying put, this cable definitely does the job.
