This Hosa Hi-Z Microphone Cable is an unbalanced 24 gauge Hi-Z microphone cable that features a Neutrik-brand female XLR connector on the mic end, and a 1/4" phone connector on the other end. The two inner wires form the "hot" and "cold" conductors. These are surrounded by a braided shield that offers 95% coverage shielding.
Hi-Z cables allow the user to plug a Hi-Z microphone directly into the input of a guitar amplifier or the input of a Hi-Z mixer unit.
