Comments about Samson R11 - 3 Pack Hyper-Cardioid Handheld Dynamic Microphone:
We needed to change from old cheap mics at our church, so we purchased this three pack. I was not disappointed. They are crisp, with a good sound. Way better than what the old mics.

Comments about Samson R11 - 3 Pack Hyper-Cardioid Handheld Dynamic Microphone:
I was surprised and pleased with the performance of these microphones. I used Shure SM57s before and I feel these are very equal. I don't know if they will last as long as a Shure microphone but for the price you can afford to buy extras. I have used these on vocals, guitar cabs and even bass cabs with natural sound reproduction. I have used them for both recording and live uses. The switch is great and I like the mostly silent shut off or turn on. The only complaint I have with this microphone is the shape of the body and the poor mic clip. The body of the mic is angled sharply making it hard to use universal mic clips. The mic clip provided squeezes so tightly you can't get it around the center of the mic. The mic overall is great and I have told others to buy them.

Comments about Samson R11 - 3 Pack Hyper-Cardioid Handheld Dynamic Microphone:
We use these mics for a weekly open jam, where you have a wide variety of voices to mic... male, female, strong, weak, and these mics always do the job. They sound good and reject feedback well; way better than other mics in this price range. People with very strong voices and bad mic technique will overdrive them, but they'd probably do that on any mic.
The only problem with these is that the specs on Samson's website (and thus this website) don't match the specs on the included manual; not even close. Samson's website even contradicts themselves in several places, and they never responded when I emailed them about it. It doesn't matter to me at this point, but when buying microphones you typically don't have an opportunity to try them out first, so specs are important.
