Durable bag. Fits my Nikon F3 with lens, lots of film, sunglasses, cellphone, wallet, journal and cigarettes. Doesn't look too fancy, good for rough neighborhoods. Also fits my Hasselblad with lens and back attached. I would recommend using this bag with a simple setup for long walks.

Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Black):
Had mine since '98, and satisfied overall. Over the years I've carried as much as two Nikon F bodies with four lenses (detached) and a Sekonic, and as little as my M3/50cron/meters. Leica will fit in one of the four compartments with lens extended and hood fitted. Bag contours to fit your body; as a result it doesn't bounce around with every step. You do sacrifice some cushion, as only the four compartment insert and bag bottom are padded, and lightly at that. I personally like the lack of velcro--it's quiet. Metal buckles are a hassle to release and they jingle. I may change out to plastic side-squeeze in the future. I lost the awkward hand strap about a decade ago.

Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Black):
I have had this bag for about a decade. First used it with my F100 and lenses, and now with a D300 and lenses. I have used other bags, but keep returning to this - and experience has led me to use this bag nearly exclusively for walking around, hiking, etc. Forget the awkward "backpacks" - this is more practical and the best part is that it is flexible/adjustable to meet my needs. I am currently looking at B&H to get new inserts to fit my current lens/body arrangement - and that's both the best and worst thing about Domke bags (and this bag in particular). I always found the four-compartment insert (that comes with this bag) oddly shaped/sized and never liked it. But it is possible to get various different sized inserts to customize the bag. But perhaps the best thing about the bag is that it is a canvas bag that stays close to your body - does not stick out like the rigid shoulder bags (from Lowepro and others, which I have) so it is discreet but convenient.

Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Black):
I have spent the better part of the last 8 years looking for a walkaround bag for a body and a few primes. I have gone through several bags, sticking mostly with a Tamrac system 6 that did well holding a body and a few lenses. However, while it did the job, it always felt stiff and was often a hindrance to carry. Additionally, when I switched to Canon, I upgraded and started picking up larger L primes whereas before I was using the smaller Nikon primes like the 85 1.8 and 35 2.0. This led me to look at the F-6 as it is similar in size (on the outside, far larger in the main compartment) and holds far more.
For me it holds a 7D+grip, 17-40L, 85 1.8, 135L, and a 200L in the main compartment with my charger and accessories in the front compartment. I have a small pouch hooked to the strap to hold a G11 as well.
PROS
-Conforms extremely well while carrying and makes it way comfortable
-Swallows an enormous amount of gear compared to similarly-sized bags
-The strap design holds to your shoulder well and does not slide as you move
-Very easy access to all your gear
-No end-pockets and less padding make this bag extremely compact
CONS
-No side pockets like F-2 means less space for stuff you may need quick access to. If you need them, get a different bag.
-Unpadded strap is uncomfortable over long period when carrying a lot of gear. I suggest getting a pad for the strap.
-Lack of padding (unless you use the inserts) may be an issue for some
-If you use the included 4-section insert, the camera cannot be placed in the bag with the lens attached.
-A bit too shallow and small to hold 70-200 lenses well

Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Black):
The F-6 is a great little bag especially if you want to shoot with prime lenses. It comes with a 4-area compartment that you can move back and forth or even take out and replace with a different insert. Inside my F-6 is a D700 with 35 f2 mounted sitting on the side, the 4-area compartment holds a 50 1.8, 85 1.4, 105 VR, and 180 2.8. The 77mm diameter lenses fit fine. The 4-area compartment is also collapsible meaning you can easily collapse it to become a 2-area compartment instead of 4 by removing the foam inserts and folding it. I don't like the 2 metal clips flying around when I lift the flap as this can hit your glass easily. I also didn't like how there is no velcro under the flap for easy closing/opening, it relies on those two metal clasps instead. What I did was I cut them off and sewn a velcro under the flap. Overall a great bag.

I have been using my Domke F-6 almost daily since it arrive in Dec 3/09.
I have several bags in my possessions like Tamrac, Lowepro and even Mekko (similar to Domke F-2), but this is nothing compared to F-6.
Domke F-6 is not too small nor too big compared to others. I carry 1 Nikon D700 body with 3 lenses (17-35mm F/2.8, 70-300mm F/4, and 50mm F/1.8 plus SB 600). Most of the time I carry a spare Nikon D200 as my spare. In other words this is not a small bag, it is a "Good Bag" for my gears.

Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Black):
This bag is the bag I have been searching for. It is simple, uncomplicated and larger than it looks. I can stash one DSLR, three moderate lenses and all the extras necessary for a long day of shooting. Walking around city streets, it is easy to tote and does not attract a lot of attention. The shoulder strap is great, I am not a tall women and the straps shorten up to a comfortable length. Buy this bag, your bigger complicated bags will go begging and be jealous!

Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Black):
I use this bag for my Leica M and R cameras. I carry an M with lenses and an R8 with one lens, filters, a Pentax Digital Spotmeter, etc. The bag is just large enough but with all of this gear it is comfortable to carry and efficient to use. I also own a Domke original bag which I have had for years and I like the fact that the design F6 is similar to that of my other bag making everything familiar and natural. I highly recommend this bag.
Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Black):
I love Domke bags because it's light & comport and it'smoderate price.great for 1 body with standard zoom lens, 2 extra lens, flash, light meter and you still have front pocket. If you don't carry manylens, you should take F3 or F4( cause of quick draw it workslike holster type bag)
Expertise: Over 10 years pro
Problems Encountered: However, It has some problems 1.comport & light means it's not good for protection thisbag focused on taking pictures while carrying gears byyour-self.You shouldn't carry this bag in the car trunk. 2. other than F3 or F4 it doesn't have Velcro on the coverso don't forgot to lock the hooks.
