Comments about Domke FA-210 Insert:
This fits my a700 with VG with room to spare and even though not listed fits great in the F-802 along with another insert. I can't say enough about the quality of Domke's products. The padding is a little thin and there's none on the bottom, but that's not a big deal on the F-802 because its main compartment is padded on the bottom and sides and I do my best not to slam my gear around, at least when I can avoid it. Anyhow the insert is great worth every penny.

Comments about Domke FA-210 Insert:
This is a great little divider. I can just fit a D90 with 18-200mm VR attached (lens down). It is a little snug, but very easy to pull the camera out by the strap. I know some complain that the bottom is not padded, but this is not a problem if you use it in most Domke bags which have a padded bottom. Also, you can use a little bit of camping mattress foam (or whatever) to easily pad the bottom.
I use this insert in a Domke F-3x, but also in any bag I put the camera in (ie backpack, etc). For me this is a lot better than most camera bags, more room for personal stuff, more discrete and less bulky. This is also great for traveling, as it folds flat (you can also reduce the bulk of your backpack while carrying your camera). This insert is mostly just for transport, once I get somewhere I have the camera over the shoulder and ready to shoot.
The padding is also removable via slits in the bottom, which is nice if you don't need it. The padding is more than enough to protect photo gear.

Comments about Domke FA-210 Insert:
This insert is designed to be used in Domke camera bags to protect delicate and expensive photography equipment. In that capacity they work great, but they are also useful in any bag.
I wanted a camera bag that would protect my Canon camera and lenses without announcing to the world that there are thousands of dollars of camera gear conveniently stored in a handy carrying case. A medium and small messenger bag was my solution, but the company I prefer for these bags doesn't make a camera specific bag.
Domke camera bag inserts were the answer. They're lightweight and padded. Easily movable inside the bag to provide options to how you store your equipment, these inserts provide a lot of flexibility in organizing your bag.
I use the medium messenger bag when I need to carry a lot of gear and the small messenger for going out just to take pictures for a day. The ease of moving the inserts I want from bag to bag fits my needs wonderfully.
They are durably constructed, include velcro bands along two sides, and fold up easily when not in use.
Combine this insert with Domke DSLR insert and other inserts you need to make your own personalized camera bag for whatever situation you find yourself in.
The only negative I can think of is the dark color of the inserts; in low light situations it could hamper locating small items.
I own six inserts that I rotate between three bags as needed, (I even use these to organize a bag use for work) and I couldn't recommend a better product for this purpose!

I use it with my Domke F-803. I'm able to fit a 450D + 55-250mm IS with room to spare. The insert included with the bag can also be installed at the same time. Main issue is the bottom isn't padded.
