For those who need to plug a mono source mic into your camcorder with a stereo mini jack input, this is the cable you'll want.
You will only be recording to the left side as that's what mono audio does by nature but hey, you can equal that out on your editing software to play on both speakers.
The cable is a bit too long at 5 foot but I can shorten it and the angled plug is a great feature.
Cable quality is good and flexible and I would recommend this to anyone.

I purchased these cables in July/09 when they were $10 each like all the others. 1 of the 4 made it past the 1/2 way point in the school year. Granted my students will do things they shouldn't like wrap the cable around the mic, etc. but habits don't change and I've had previous cables last much longer. I'm going back to Comprehensive.

Knee-shaped connection is very good, strong and very useful cable video cameras that have no connection to XLR.
