This Hosa Stereo Mini Male to 1/4" Mono Male Cable is a 3' long cable that can be used to "sum" stereo to mono in one direction, or to apply a mono signal equally to the left and right in the other direction.
Great for sending the stereo signal from a portable CD player to a single mixer channel.

I use this cable to connect the output on my iMac to the channel input on my power mixer running my PA speakers to listen to music or listen to the playback after recording in Garageband. It's a good cable and it definitely sounds better than what I used to use with an adapter. But I thought it would give me full stereo quality and it doesn't sound like it.
