This Hosa Stereo Mini Male to 1/4" Mono Male Cable is a 5' long cable that can be used to "sum" stereo to mono in one direction, or to apply a mono signal equally to the left and right in the other direction.
Great for sending the stereo signal from a portable CD player to a single mixer channel.

I needed a one piece solution to connect my iPod to a mono input on an amp for background music in a large room. I've also used it for a backyard BBQ party. I have other cords and adapters to do the same thing but I wanted a single cord that didn't involve extra connectors/adapters to combine the L and R stereo signal from a 3.5mm jack into a mono signal for a 1/4" jack.
