The VIC-50 will clear any information located on the ten lines of the vertical interval; the vertical interval is used for information such as VITC time code and closed captioning. Clearing the Vertical Interval allows the user to reinsert new data for a current application.

- Cleans Vertical Interval of all data without disturbing the video image or stability.
- Black Level
- A black level of 7.5 IRE for North American television can be selected or 0 IRE for other systems is an option.
- Multiple Outputs
- More than one output allows user to utilize this unit for duplication and signal measurement applications.
