The Sony LC-424TH Hard Carry Case is a rugged ATA certified hard shell carrying and shipping case made by Thermodyne. It has a custom foam interior for complete protection of the Sony DXC series studio camcorders with a lens, two batteries, charger, tripod adapter and tape. It has quality weather resistant, gasket sealed construction and heavy-duty field replacement hardware plus spring loaded handle and latches. The case is lockable for shipping and conforms to airline carry-on regulations and is made in the USA and comes with a full 5 year, factory-backed Thermodyne warranty.

We needed a way to ship our gear that kept it secure and well protected plus, the case had to have wheels!. The Sony/Thermodyne case fit the bill 100%. Our DSR 390 camera fit perfectly and we were also able to carry several lights and stands with little modification. I'm all for shipping gear rather than trying to carry it on a plane whenever possible. The Sony cases make it easy. In fact we just bought a second one. We can use it for a second camera or monitor and audio gear.
