Hasselblad Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) Rechargeable Battery for 500ELX and Older EL Series Cameras
The original nickel-cadmium (NiCad) battery for the Hasselblad EL series (500ELX and older) has been discontinued. Hasselblad now markets this more modern Nickel-Metal-Hydride (NiMH) battery which offers greater storage and longer life. It can be charged in the same manner as the NiCad type and with the same charger.
