Overall I'm pleased with the bag, strap is adjustable and is of the proper length. Bag opens from the middle and zippers the entire length so getting the tripod in and out is pretty quick. Only drawback is that the bag is not wide/tall enough to fit the 055X Pro tripod and the 503HDV Pro fluid head with the handle attached. Handle must be removed in order for the bag to be zipped up. Length of the pod is not a problem with the head attached.

The bag seems durable thus far, it's oversized for my needsbut the next size down seemed almost too small. A decisionI do not regret. The padding is sufficient for every day bumps and to spareyour back from the metal legs.I can easily fit in my new tripod, along with my oldbackup tripod. The Bogen patch is smaller than the preview photo shows.
Problems Encountered: There are marks of poor craftsmanship on the bag: threadscoming out of seams, but where craftsmanship is lacking thedurability and quality don't seem to.Not only does the strap seem a little short, but it is notadjustable, and is attached to the bag so there is no way toslip other items onto the strap like I would like to (likemy collapsible reflector case.) This feature is soimportant to me that there is a trip to the craft store inthe future to get more strap and clasps.

Comments about Manfrotto 3280BLK (AW-3280B) 35" Tripod Bag:
Jostled amongst camping and geological gear on rough roads to remote sites, the exterior finish of my tripod was damaged last year. In order to prevent further damage, I chose to purchase a bag. I also wanted to be sure that the fit would be right so opted not to buy an after-market product. I was very pleased with the fit of this bag. I can place the tripod with ball head into the bag for a snug fit. I no longer worry that the tip of my rock hammer will continue working its ugly damage under the mounds of other gear as I bump along rough back roads.

I have a Manfrotto 055XB tripod with the 501HDV Pro Video Head. It fits perfectly with space to spare. It's just a bag. No padding or anything special. Has the carry straps, cloth handles, and one exterior zipper compartment. It's just what I need!

Comments about Manfrotto 3280BLK (AW-3280B) 35" Tripod Bag:
Very poor construction, this bag has weak zippers and in general poor quality materials. It says that this is a tripod bag made by Manfrotto, but I bet it is not even made by this company, simple because it is not up to their products standards.
Not worth it.

Comments about Manfrotto 3280BLK (AW-3280B) 35" Tripod Bag:
I bought a new lightweight tripod setup (from B&H, of course), but I wanted a bag for my old and trusty Bogen 3221Pro aluminum tripod. I really like this bag. It fits well, has a zipper that goes the whole length of the top, and has two methods to carry it -- using the handles and using the shoulder strap. It also has a side pocket for extras. It's big enough that I can put my equally old and trusty Bogen 3016 aluminum monopod in there as well. I think it is well made and worth the price. It is much better to have all this stuff in a bag so you can just grab it and throw it in the trunk without thinking about it.

Comments about Manfrotto 3280BLK (AW-3280B) 35" Tripod Bag:
I needed a bag to transport my tripod on my Las Vegas trip. It worked well as a carry on. The one thing I think an improvement could be would be to make the unit a little bigger with width so I could accommodate my tripod head without an adjustment handle sticking out. A ball head would fit fine but I tend to lean towards 3 axis heads. Over all a good buy.

Comments about Manfrotto 3280BLK (AW-3280B) 35" Tripod Bag:
I purchased this bag to to carry the Manfrotto 190CXPRO3 with an attached 054 magnesium ball head.
The bag is roomy enough to the store tripod legs with attached ball head with plenty to spare (bordering on too big for the aforementioned legs and head). It doesn't have interior velcro straps to secure smaller tripods in place so they don't move when transported in the bag.
The padding is so thin that it is almost difficult to tell that it is a padded bag; this is either good or bad. Good because it makes the bag light but bad because I doubt it will protect a tripod setup if the bag experiences a fair amount of tossing & abuse.
The stitching is poor: a few threads unraveled a week after I delicately used the bag.
There is a useful pocket on the bag but a second one would have been divine.
This bag is adequate for carrying around legs and a head if you are fairly careful with your equipment. This is not a good bag for protecting your equipment from damage aside from scratches: if you plan on roughly tossing your tripod setup around, this bag & your tripod will not last long.
It is a bit disappointing that Manfrotto takes such care in developing their tripods but market a bag such as this. I wish this bag was a smaller version of their black & red video tripod bags.

Comments about Manfrotto 3280BLK (AW-3280B) 35" Tripod Bag:
It's a great looking bag. Very low profile. Has a .25 inch padding that's just enough to protect your tripod. Anything thicker would be over doing it.
I dont have to remove the head from my tripod to fit it into the bag. I simply tilt the joystick head up and slide it inside.
The bag folds up neatly when not in use and fits into my backpack.

Comments about Manfrotto 3280BLK (AW-3280B) 35" Tripod Bag:
I'm really glad I made the purchase. I was reading other reviews saying that the bag was paper thin but it has just the right amount of padding. The padding is about a quarter of an inch thick, which is just right. It protects my body from being poked by the tripod when I carry it over my shoulder.
What's so great about the bag was that it fits my manfrotto 055CXPro3 tripod with the 322RC2 ball head perfectly. I dont ever gotta take them apart. I just push the joystick handle up and slide it inside.
I would recommend this bag to anyone who wants a low profile bag to hold their tripod. I used to carry the tripod naked, but not anymore. It just catches too much attention.

A little too long for my tripod, but the next size down is a little too short. Does the trick. Don't expect to have extra cushion where you can toss it around.
