The AKG H 15/T Dedicated Shock Mount for the C 12 VR Tube Microphone is a harness that holds your mic securely in a suspended position for optimal recording results.
Suspended mic mounts are less rigid than common hard mounts and can eliminate handling noise while keeping unwanted reflections to a minimum. Their streamlined shape approximates the ideal conditions of a mic freely floating in space, and their flexible suspension helps insulate the mic from vibrations transmitted up the mic stand via the floor.
