A hard to find item with 3/8" female thread to 1/4" male thread conversion.I wish I didn't have to buy 5 for [$]Rather maybe 2 at a time. So it's expensive but gets the job done.

I had a dilema when I bought a Gitzo tripod with a 3/8"-16 male threading and some of my tripod heads had 1/4"-20 sockets only----this device is an inexpensive fix. Solid construction and you get 5 so if you misplace one, you have others.
