Comments about Novoflex Focusing Rack Large:

I use the product to adjust the camera position relative to the subject, macro/close-up mostly. Two adjustable slides work in a single plane and even in a vertical position there is no "position creep" even with the lock nuts loosened. The fine adjustment is just that and works well using a knurled knob.
Here's what's wrong with it.
1. All the adjusting knobs are small and not easily moved.
2. In the vertical plane with a heavy camera and lense it is difficult to move the fine adjustment at all.
3. Because of the positioning of the camera release knob, immediately behind the camera platform, it is not possible to use a tripod ring mount on heavier lenses (eg MP-E 65mm).
4. The tripod attachment coupling makes fine positioning of the camera difficult.
5. Some of the adjusting knobs are in under the camera and gear making adjustments difficult and slow.

Final problem, no real alternative.
