I've had the fiberglass for over 20 years and they are still straight. This aluminum bent and the box was only mounted for about 2.5 hours. It will probably still work but I'm going to use it only as a back up and fix the old one. Looks like a bow.

I purchased the extra large Photoflex softbox about a year ago and one of the support rods that came with the softbox broke. The replacement rod that I purchased from B&H seems to be a better quality rod. Thanks B&H
