Comments about Nikon DK-10 Rubber Eyecup for N60, N80 & D100 Cameras:
The DK-10 can come loose from body if handled roughly or if contacted when taken out of camera bag in a hurry. I have lost two over the course of 7 years so it is not a frequent problem, but I always like to have a spare on-hand.

Comments about Nikon DK-10 Rubber Eyecup for N60, N80 & D100 Cameras:
You don't know what you've got until it's gone. Who would think the eyecup for my Nikon was such a big deal? Well, I waited too long to replace the lost one you see, stray light entered the viewfinder and my eyeglasses were scratched up. And one extra bonus is my eye fits more comfortably against the camera. The new eyecup fits snugly and secure and well, I'm one happy camper. Thanks Nikon, for looking after the little details.

Comments about Nikon DK-10 Rubber Eyecup for N60, N80 & D100 Cameras:
... to get my N80 to shape when I lost this Eyecap last summer. I searched for this small but very useful piece of replacement part all over India, I knew B&H stocks all such replacement parts. When I came back to USA I got it from B&H.
Fits well in Nikon N80 and really helps viewing through the viewglass.
Thanks

Comments about Nikon DK-10 Rubber Eyecup for N60, N80 & D100 Cameras:
I can't imagine using my N80 Nikon without it. Unfortunately, it easily slides off the camera, especially if you pull your camera out of a tight bag. That's how I've lost the original eyecup. So I recommend to fix it to your camera with a glue.

Comments about Nikon DK-10 Rubber Eyecup for N60, N80 & D100 Cameras:
I discovered that my Nikon D70 was missing the rubber eyecup and has been since purchase. After having problems with my eye wear getting scratches only on the right lens I started looking for the source of the problem. This is when I found that my Nikon was missing the eyecup. Not sure if it was the source of the scratches but it sure makes for a more comfortable use of the Nikon.
The only problem I've run into is it's harder to adjust the diopter with the eyecup attached but once it is adjusted you're good to go if you are the only one using the camera as the diopter does not require frequent adjustments.

Comments about Nikon DK-10 Rubber Eyecup for N60, N80 & D100 Cameras:
The DK10 is a terrific device, being indispensable if one is to avoid stubbing his nose on the glass eyepiece of a Nikon N80, N60, D50, and other nose defilers sold by Nikon. This one was sold new and [...] was easily installed on the camera where it will remain as long as I have the camera, possibly forever.
