I needed something to level my camera when I was shooting handheld or on a tripod. The level on the tripod I use was to difficult to manage. I bought the Hot Shoe Leveler and now I use it everytime I take pictures. It's made a big difference in keeping my horizons straight in my pictures. Simple, small and easy to use. I love this accessory.

I do landscape and macro photography. It is important to make sure camera is level. It is easy to use,however it is easy to lose because of its size and because it slides on hot shoe flash.

Way better than a spirit level to get your setup square. I use it for pano and celestial shots, and I want an absolutely level base. Only con is protecting it; it doesn't come with a protector (a tiny sock of neoprene would be plenty).
