The Dynalite SH2000 Studio Flash Head gives photographers the control they require in the studio and the ability of bringing their same lights on location, because every component was designed to minimal size and weight specifications.
The SH2000 head is a fan cooled 2000 watt/second studio flash head with a frosted glass dome for even light dispersion and more accurate previewing from the 250 Watt quartz modeling lamp. The SH2000 head is designed for use with a variety of studio type reflectors for total control of lighting effects (See "Accessories"). A power supply for this flash head is required.

Comments about Dynalite SH2000 Studio 2000 Watt/Second Flash Head:
For what it is, this thing never skips a beat. Great quality of light that is consistent and quick. I use this inside a 5 foot octabox and also in 3x4 softboxes and it fills up quite nicely. Bought it to put in these light modifiers out of paranoia that my MH2050 heads weren't lighting the boxes evenly enough (they were). Can't complain though. Only thing I would change is a quicker system of attaching light modifiers to dynalite heads, like the Profoto stuff which is super quick. However, the tiny size and portability of these are astounding.

Among the few Dynalite flash heads...this is the most versatile! Softboxes, Beauty Dishes...I recommend MOLA dishes! Yes...it adapts to umbrellas...and handles all the packs that Dynalite manufactures! The 2050's are great...add 50% more versatility for the SH2000's!

Comments about Dynalite SH2000 Studio 2000 Watt/Second Flash Head:
This flash head will adapt to many more reflectors and softboxes than will the 2050, although the 2050's are lighter and more compact. The standard reflector accepts grids w/o an xtra cost adapter. Hopefully, Dynalite will do away with the pigtail cable and install a cable plug like the 2050 head. Had to return one recently for an under-performing cooling fan, [...]. Tough equipment, built to last and very desirable as used someday.

I shoot in studio and on location with SH2000's as part of a dynalite kit, which I have been using for years. It's small, rugged and reliable.
