This is a Dynalite 7" Snoot, used to create small circular ring of light and control light spill. It fits on the Dynalite SR65 reflector, which fits on the 2000 and 40 series heads, and Uni400Jr and Uni250R monolights. It also fits the Comet 7" reflector. If you purchase the grid spot adapter, this snoot will fit on the RH1050 and MH2050 flash heads, as well.

Snoots, Barndoors, Grids, and Filters are essential accessories for any lighting system. These devices alter the shape, intensity, or color of the light output from your flash heads. Consider them as a painter would a brush, or a sculptor would a knife, or chisel.

Use of a snoot will result in a small circle of light, when it is attached to the front of your light source. The size of the circle of light will be determined by the opening of the snoot, its length, and the distance of the subject.

Fits Dynalite and Comet 7" reflectors.
Fits Dynalite 2040 and 1015 flash heads with the 33-08 adapter.

I would have give 5 stars.

The product is great for 4040 heads, produce a tight circle good light.
but do not even try to put it on the grid holder 33-08 it does not fit secure.

Comments about Snoot For Dynalite & Comet CX-C Flash Head Reflectors:

This is a great little gadget to have in the studio! Perfect for angling light for dramatic highlights. However, it doesn't click directly to the flash-head. You need the grid-spot holder.
