      Years ago I replaced all my plastic graduated filters with expensive glass filters. I've paid over [$] per filter for some, and never regretted it. I was hugely disappointed when this one arrived and it proved to be plastic.I'll keep this and use it at until it gets too scratched to be useful. If by then it really proves useful, I may replace it with a new one. In plastic, this should be a [$]item, not [$]

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
