The Elinchrom Accessory Holder for 8-1/4" Reflector fits onto the front of the reflector and accepts a complete system of attachable accessories such as grids, filters, diffusers, and barndoors. Their design allows different accessories to be used together. For example: to produce spots of colored light, gels can be used in conjunction with honeycomb grids and then barndoors can be used to avoid flare. The Accessory Holder is repositionable, not rotatable.

I needed this for cross-polarization work, and it is PERFECT. Solid fit on the reflector, orientable, and well-made.I STRONGLY suggest the USPS Priority shipping... Most of my orders with UPS (pronounced 'ooops!') comes with the boxes damaged, and sometimes the contents. I got this order in EXACTLY three days (beats the 4-5 day average for UPS) and in PERFECT condition. Worth the extra couple bucks, especially for high-dollar orders.

This clip on gel holder for the Elinchrom 8 1/4 reflectors allows you to use cinema filters from Lee, Rosco etc or as I do, wrapping cellophane, to add color highlights or backgrounds to your images. It clips on easily and has two sprung clamps the width of the holder. Use it with one of their grids and you have excellent lighting control of color and with ND filter material exposure, when you use the powerful Bxri500 close up
