Comments about Audio-Technica AT8646QM Shock Mount Plate with Isolating Rubber Panel for Pulpits, Lecterns and Conference Tables - XLR Female Connector Mount:
I am using this to replace the incorrect mount for our pulpit microphone. Not only does it hold the microphone in place, but it also cuts down dramatically on vibration noise as someone walks up to the pulpit. It was easy to install. Bought this to replace another mount that I had on a podium. Like the idea that it is shock mounted.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT8646QM Shock Mount Plate with Isolating Rubber Panel for Pulpits, Lecterns and Conference Tables - XLR Female Connector Mount:
I was doing a PA system install for a church and bought this shockmount for use with an Audio Technica PRO-49Q podium mic. It worked great. The shockmount suspends the XLR connector in dense rubber which reduces vibrations (and therefore noise) when people are walking across the stage, bumping the podium with their hands, or placing objects on it while speaking.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT8646QM Shock Mount Plate with Isolating Rubber Panel for Pulpits, Lecterns and Conference Tables - XLR Female Connector Mount:
Installed on the pulpit lectern at our church and eliminated the "thud" that was present with the old mic and mic mount whenever someone bumped the lectern.
Easy to install and wire up. Overall a good price and a good product.
