Comments about Cokin X-Pro Universal Adapter Ring:
I use it to adapt a X-Pro Holder to my Nikkor 14-24mm lens. Using the ring is not a complicated task, very simple design. Great that it has plastic tips on the screws, so they do not damage the lens.
But the cost is too high for what you get. I think they know it is a special item for a very special lens. It is not fair from a company of this kind. That cost for a piece of metal ring and 4 screws, it is obviously overpriced.

Comments about Cokin X-Pro Universal Adapter Ring:
The Cokin X-Pro Universal adapter is the perfect solution for mounting resin filters on the Impossible Nikon 14-24mm . The 4 screws that secure the adapter to the lens hood have an attached plastic end there by preventing scratching of the lens hood. Both Cokin and Lee make filters for this adapter allowing the user to benefit from polarizing and various neutral density filters for landscape or architectural locations.
Highly recommend this product !

Comments about Cokin X-Pro Universal Adapter Ring:
Attaches with 4 set screws. Screws have plastic tips to prevent scratches on lens. Works well on Canon 14 mm with X-Pro gradient filters without vignetting and in any orientation on a FF camera. Attach filter holder to adapter, place filter in farthest slot on filter holder, and then attach entire assembly to lens, with filter as close to the lens as possible (barely touching the hood). Tighten the set screws lightly so that assembly is centered on lens. A somewhat loose fit is ok, it won't come off the lens.

Comments about Cokin X-Pro Universal Adapter Ring:
Used the modified PVC collar method to mount this on Nikon's 14-24 lens. Drilled and tapped additional holes and used allen set screws to secure to the collar. No vignetting at all with a D700 full frame. They make one with the additional holes for the 14-24 now but it is easy to modify this one.
