I use the cable to download video from my canon GL2 to the computer. Can't ask for a better cable. Connections to both computer and camera are very secure, not loose at all. I didn't know who or where to buy a decent cable that didn't cost an arm and a leg but B&H was there to help with all of my question.

This is a great cable. If you are going to be constantly pulling it in and out of a bag or packing it away you might want to think about getting a higher quality heavier gauge cable but if you are just using it for a desktop or editing setup then save your money and get this cable.

This FireWire 4-pin to 6-pin 6-foot cable has proven to be a great help in the video editing of our church services. I tried other transfering devices to convert out video/audio feed from our Canon camcorder to our computer system to make our DVDs and this one is effective. I would recommend it highly because it works and it is low in cost.
