The Elinchrom 33" White Umbrella with Black Backing allows virtually no light to pass through, and makes a very efficient bounce umbrella. It is glossy white and gives similar output to a silver umbrella without the harshness.
This umbrellas is designed for use with strobe light, and is perfect for portraits of 1 or 2 people.

The product description says "vinyl black backing" but it's not the same vinyl backing as heavy duty umbrella sold by Hensel. It's same construction as flimsy $20 umbrella but only slightly bigger size (and much higher price). They may get away with this quality since there aren't many options for 7mm shaft umbrellas, but Photek and Lastolite have better options. I'm returning mine.
