Reliable little power supply. Have several of these that lasted through 5 years of field and studio use. The only negative is that when the unit was on, the switch lighted up in green to indicate it was working. The current model does not have that light.

I use the IDX IA-60Q with a Sony DSR-250 camcorder, and it takes care of business nicely. Since I have absolutely no complaints, it might deserve 5 stars; but it's hard to get that excited about a power supply. Off hand, I don't see why anyone would pay more to get A/C power to their camcorder.

Rock solid. That's what this little power house is. When is the last time you actually got excited about a power supply? Well, I'm here to tell you that I've been the proud owner and user of my 60Q for more than a couple of years now. The best thing about it is it's reliability. In the real world of professional video production, just about anything can and usually does happen. I've subjected my 60Q to every kind of extreme weather condition known to man. I've litterly frozen it, drown it, baked it, and put more road miles on it than an old Chevy. I've dropped it (far too many times), I've kicked it, I've had to stand on it and I'm pretty sure I ran over it once. I can honestly say that it has performed 100% of the time. Never a problem. Do yourself a favor and the 60Q to your collection of Must Have gear! You won't be disappointed.
