B+W 30mm UV Haze SC 010 Filter
The B+W 30mm UV Haze SC 010 Filter is a general use, clear filter that helps to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. No additional coloration or contrast is provided, allowing you to pair this filter with others.
The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to leave on lenses at all times. Filters help to reduce dust and moisture from reaching your lens element and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur.
B+W filters are constructed from high quality Schott glass for increased optical clarity and color fidelity. They feature a brass filter ring for durability as well as jamming prevention.

Got it for reducing glare and protecting lens on my Sony CX150. Was expecting this filter to be black but it is in aluminum silver color finish. Actually, it looks really great and matching chrome accents on my black camcorder.
Quality of glass is excellent and not distorting colors. Do not see any other defects. Threaded for attaching something else, like - a lens hood. Very happy with this model. Comfortably recommending this thing to anyone who is looking for high quality filter.

Sure you can purchase a less expensive filter but NO ONE beats the quality of B&W Filters & Polarizers!
