Gitzo G-1500 Tele Studex Performance Aluminum Tripod Legs (without Column) - Supports 33 lb (15 kg)

Ideal for all large format cameras and professional video recorders up to about 42 lbs. or where extra height is important. It is the perfect tripod for professional video cameras using the optional extra interface bowls. The legs are fitted with sliding stops, which enable it to be individually set at three different angles (24°, 55° and 80°), providing more flexibility including very low angle shots. It features interchangeable grooved Rapid and Geared columns system (includes flat plate) and "wing" locking nuts for added security. It also features a universal foot system which provides a combination of rubber and stainless steel spiked feet.

Extremely stable. Slow to set up and take down. Easily over-tightened and then requires considerable effort to loosen. Ideal for fast shooting where the camera must not move as a result of the tripod it is mounted upon. Heavy. It is like mounting a camera on a tank.
