Comments about Harrison Jumbo Film Changing Tent:

Bought this for loading/unloading 4x5 film and in the future loading 4x5 film into a daylight tank

This product is well constructed and was light tight out of the box (it does recommend checking it before use). It is very roomy and could easily handle 5x7 and 8x10 film, so much easier than loading film in a changing bag. It's probably much larger than you need if you're just loading 4x5 film, in that case I'd save some money and go with the small size. Set up is easy and rolls up nicely for traveling.

Can't speak to durability yet, but if you follow the care instructions (ie, don't leave it in the trunk of your car in the middle of summer for extended periods and store out of the stuff bag when you're not traveling with it) it should last for a long time.

Comments about Harrison Jumbo Film Changing Tent:

It certainly is a LOT easier to work in than a changing bag! Can easily work with 8x10 holders and drums. I haven't tried the other similar product by another manufacturer but I don't feel the need to now. The only reservation I have is durability given the thickness of the material. Trade off with weight I guess. Otherwise it would merit 5 stars.

Comments about Harrison Jumbo Film Changing Tent:

Assembled in a minute and dismantled in even less time, this jumbo film changing tent is easily put away in its own bag.

The tent and bag take up no room at all – a very important consideration when you live in a motorhome.

I no longer have to worry about putting my films into the developing tank or placing sheet film in cut film holders. I often use the tent in full sunlight without the least problem. And everyone knows how violent the Australian sun can be!

The other advantage of the tent, and even more important, is the fact of having a mini environment devoid of dust : no more dust on the frames nor on my films. This could seem like a small detail but it has changed my life.
