12-exposure Kodak 620 color film, moderate speed (ISO 160). There are lots of old Brownie and similar cameras still out there that use it. Note 620 film is identical to 120 film except for the spool. I used a 1960s Brownie Hawkeye with flash. Flash and outdoor pictures, as well as a low-light time exposure (3 secs) came out very well. Very good color saturation, perhaps a little dark. Large format square frames make for good print resolution. I chose 5" square. Standard C41 processing, cost with prints about $8.

I really can't give a more informative review than the others already here. This is great medium format film that is conveniently re-spooled for you. Good buy.

Film I couldn't find anywhere else, inexpensive, good quality. Used it in my Ansco twin lens camera and my Diana lomography camera.

Comments about Kodak Portra-160VC 620 Professional Color Print Film (ISO-160):
The reason I bought this was that I needed the 620 spool. It's nice that the film was already wound on the spool I needed, but in the future I will be opting for unspooled to save some money.
I am only a newbie in the film photography arena, so I will leave the review of the film to others.. but I found it easy to load into my old Kodak Brownie and look forward to having it developed.

Comments about Kodak Portra-160VC 620 Professional Color Print Film (ISO-160):
I used this film in "general use" taking a variety of shots of different objects, buildings and people. PRO: I really like its faithful reproduction of skin tones and natural colours, whilst adding a welcome saturation in certain colour areas (especially blues, which makes for very nice landscape shots). There is no hue that dominates in any given shot, which does not mean to say that shots are bland. Colours are lively but none is too striking. [...]

I have an old Kodak Brownie Hawkeye that takes 620 roll film. I used the Portra-160VC for the first run, and saved the spool after processing. I then loaded 120 film and used the 620 spool as the receiving spool. Now I can shoot 120 film on my 620 Hawkeye. Note: I did already have an extra empty 620 spool to load my first roll onto.

I'm a photographer that uses vintage cameras to shoot portraits for a fun project on the side. When it comes to film, I'm usually at a loss to find decent quality and price. This totally supports my hobby, and works great for my uses.

The color on this is amazing. This was my first venture back into film since being forced to live in the digital world and I almost had tears when I saw the prints. Great color.

Comments about Kodak Portra-160VC 620 Professional Color Print Film (ISO-160):
I got ahold of some old cameras from my father-in-law that needed 620 film, i was uneducated on the matter, so i bought this film, and when i got it, and did some research on the internet, i saw and learned that this is 120 film that's been respooled onto a 620 film spool. The 620 spool has a thinner spindle, but otherwise, it will fit fine with the 120 film in every other respect. So my advice is skip this purchase and buy 120 film, which is cheaper, then respool yourself. Maybe the only reason to buy this is for the one-time purchase of getting a 620 spool, because those are hard to come by. My father-in-law's camera had one empty 620 spool but you need two! as for the film, i've always liked kodak portra, but if you're using an old camera that's needing 620 film, it'd probably be better to shoot 400 iso instead of 160.
