it arrived in the original box, but because it was in the box "so long" and the box is slightly smaller than the suction cup, it is slightly bent and will only stick on perfectly smooth (glass) surfaces, not on almost perfect surfaces, like a table or counter top.

This little cup is great when you want to back light a subject from the floor and then you still have to use some fill light in front and it can be used for fill light on a lot of subjects. like this product
