Comments about f.64 LPX Large Lens Pouch - Holds Up to 11" Telephoto Lenses - Black:
As a previous reviewer stated, this case is especially useful with the Canon 400mm L f5.6 lens. The older Canon hard case that came with that lens is too clumsy for use in the field, and the newer soft one is hard to find unless it came with your lens. It will cost about four times as much as this f.64 case if you do find it. I tried the f.64 case on my belt with the 400mm lens inside. It is quite usable out in the field. The lens fits perfectly and is a breeze to remove and put back. If it holds that lens, I imagine it would easily hold the 300mm L IS or the 100-400mm L IS, since those are both smaller. And the f.64 has clever velcro straps to squeeze it smaller in order to keep skinnier lenses from flopping around inside it.My only complaint is that the f.64 lens case has just very thin padding. It would be much better if the padding were twice as thick. I would not want to drop this case with a lens inside it because I am not confident it would do much to protect it. I have a couple smaller Lowepro lens cases which I would trust a good deal more to actually shield a lens from impact. Overall, you cannot go wrong here for the price[...].

Great product, awesome value. Well made. The photo doesn't do it justice. It's durable, but light-weight enough that you can crumple it up and stow it in your camera bag. It has a belt loop, which is great, but I'd also like to have a way to attach a strap.

Comments about f.64 LPX Large Lens Pouch - Holds Up to 11" Telephoto Lenses - Black:
This soft, padded case is just about perfect for a 400mm. f5.6 telephoto. The lens fits snugly and the case is adequately protective for use in the field. There likely are more sturdy cases available, but at a much higher price. This case is amazingly inexpensive considering how well-constructed it is. I recommend it for use with any lens of the proper size to make use of its design.

Large enough for lense and camera bracket. Former cases wouldn't allow the support bracket to be attached to the lens. I had to remove support from lens for storage
