I use this mainly for studio portraits and head shots. The light produced with this box is very soft. The included internal diffuser produces an even softer light. Excellent soft box that is affordable.

Once you read the directions and give it a few trys, setting this up is a cinch.
I have to use an adapter so it will fit my Ranger Quadra. This softbox though doesn't align "straight" on the adapter. Does affect my photography but still annoys me a little.

I recently switched to Elinchrom softboxes and love them. I use them with Profoto heads. No more fooling around with speedrings, just open, snap connectors in, and you are ready to go.

Purchase the Elinchrom Maxisoft Deflector kit. Remove the inner and outer diffusers and slide silver deflector in. You turn the softbox into a giant beauty dish. The light is spectacular in this configuration.

I use this for general purpose studio shots, be in product or people. At first I was baffled by the design after using Alienbee boxes for a while, but I love the design now. So light and sturdy, very nicely made. My favorite part is probably the diffuser itself, the design that went into attaching it is so perfect. This box is perfect, the quality of light you get is worth every penny.

I use this softbox on the Style 500 BXRi Compact MonoLight. Setup is pretty easy once you've set it up a couple times. The build quality is great... very sturdy and durable. The carry-case is great quality as well. I really haven't had any problems with it, and haven't found anything that is "bad" about it at all.

I use this product in my studio for portrait photography, Well constructed, excellent quality, lightweight speed ring, easy to assemble and I like the way the diffuser attaches to the shell. Easy to install on the Elinchrom Pro RX STYLE lights with new and improved locking ring.

I bought this to light wine bottles and it works perfectly. The large size is great and the set-up and break down is simple. The material seems a little thin so I feel the need to be extra careful with it to avoid ripping or tearing the sides.
