Crown's M45887-3 Windscreen for CM-311 Series Headworn Microphones can be used to replace the standard foam windscreen supplied with CM-311A and CM-311AE mics.
This Windscreen helps keep unwanted rumble and wind noise out of your recordings and broadcasts. If a performer makes excessively noisy breath plosives (like "p" and "b"), consider also buying the M46406-1 Two Stage Pop Filter.
- Noise Control for Headworn Mics
- Crown's Windscreen for Headworn Mics filters out noises that commonly cause mics to distort, such as wind noise and low frequency rumble.

Looked all over the web to find this windscreen for a mic which I use professionally and was happy when I saw B&H had it. The [$] filter became $30 once it was shipped to Canada but hey, I needed it. I opened the package and the foam pop filter immediately came off the plastic ring which then broke in two pieces! A little bit of crazy glue has made it usable for now. Definitely not worth [$]
