These are sturdy well made binoculars which are used for game and bird watching. The clarity and the light gathering ability enhances the ability of the user to identify species.We have been able to use even at dusk and dawn as it enhances the normal vision.
This is the second pair we have purchased. Others have commented on the grip but I have very large hands and have experienced no problem. The current model comes with a digital camera attachment should you wish to use it to take photos. It is probably superfluous for those of us who use SLR's with Long lenses.
This is a great and classic product with a lifetime guarantee.

I use these for birding. Excellent optics, and comfortable to hold. I would get the suspenders (which hold it around the back) if you are going to be carrying these for hours.
